Issue Date: | 2004 | Publisher: | Taylor & Francis | Journal: | New Global Development: Journal of International and Comparative Social Policy | Volume: | 20 | Issue: | 2 | Start page: | 51 | End page: | 53 | Abstract: | Dreaming is important to social work practice and practitioners. It is a necessary and basic step towards meaningful professional intervention. We shared our ideal and ideas on dreaming. Social work itself is a persistent pursuit of the “shared dream” of humanistic values. We also suggested ways for giving encouragement and space for the students and frontline social workers to dream constructively. |
