This study aims to analyze diploma students' behavior in their use of mobile devices for language learning in Hong Kong. A case study is drawn from participants studying at Caritas Institute of Higher Education, who are currently learning Chinese and English in preparation for entering a higher diploma or an associate degree programme in the coming academic year. The result suggested that the factor of enjoyment factor is decisive in shaping their attitude in using apps in learning languages and attitude in turn marks its influence on behavioral intention. Despite the significance of our pilot test in confirming the feasibility of the questionnaire design in explaining students' behavior, a more comprehensive study with a wider sample drawn from students at sub-degree and degree levels is desirable in the future to establish a more sophisticated theoretical framework.en_US
