This intervention has been used in gamblers’ support groups, extramarital affairs groups, and groups handling love/relationship issues among youths and adults, although it can be generalized to groups of other natures with slight modifications to suit the unique situations of group members. The intervention is applied to situations where the clients experience the “win” and “lose” sensations in the course of gambling with money or gambling with love. It is particularly powerful for female members who are single but become a third party in someone’s extramarital affair.en_US
