This conclusion chapter will examine common issues and problems related to organized crime and corruption in selected OBOR nations and the possible outcome of OBORization. The issues include massive economic growth and the China threat, institutionalized corruption and protective umbrella, people’s low trust in the government, convergence and connectivity among criminal groups, the covert but significant role of Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Regions of China, and issues of security and human rights. Moreover, some positive aspects of OBORization and their policy implications will be explored.en_US
