dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a Frontal solver for structural dynamic analysis on IBM PC/XT or PC/AT microcomputers. The program is coded in C. Subspace iteration is used for solving the eigenvalue problem. Various aspects on the design and the implementation of the program in a C environment are discussed in detail. A full listing of the program modules and a driver program are also provided.en_US
