dc.description.abstractN-Substituted α-amino-arylmethyl-phosphonate monoesters have been prepared in moderate to good yields and in a high state of purity by a convenient one-step synthesis. New compounds incorporating the pyridin-2-yl group are prepared and fully characterised. The method described here has also been employed to synthesize two known compounds for comparison.en_US
