dc.description.abstractRoburic acid was isolated from the roots of <i>Gentiana macrophylla</i>. All the presented 8 species of Section Cruciata were checked to have roburic acid whereas other Sections or genera not by HPTLC method. Roburic acid could be served as chemtaxonomic marker for <i>Gentiana</i> species in Section Cruciata.en_US
